Wallis Municipal Court COVID-19 update 3/26/20:

If you have questions or need information on a citation in our court and are unable to reach us by phone you can email the court at court@wallistexas.org 

Jury trials for 3/24/20 have been cancelled.

If you received a citation or notice to appear on 4/1/20

For your safety and that of court staff, and, in light of CDC and Texas Supreme Court recommendations, in person proceedings at Wallis Municipal Court have been suspended. We are available to assist via email to resolve your citations where possible.

The court will make every effort to accommodate requests for video hearings for qualified cases. To request a video hearing with the Judge or Prosecutor,

  1. Email the court at court@wallistexas.org with “Request for Video Docket” in the subject line,
  2. Include a copy of your photo ID,
  3. Include your docket or citation number in the body of the email, and
  4. If you have not already, you must enter a plea for your citation before your request can be considered.

If unable to appear via video hearing your case will be reset for a later date.

Municipal Court

The city of Wallis Municipal Court is located inside city hall at 6810 Guyler St Bldg B Wallis, TX 77485.


If you wish to speak with the judge, you must appear in court.

If you have any questions about the your court date, you must contact the court through e-mail or phone. It is Important to notify the court of contact information changes so we may keep our records up to date.

Most of the questions you have may be answered on this site or the courtesy letter the officer provided you with.  If you have misplaced the Courtesy Letter the officer gave you, you may obtain one by clicking the link.   


Effective September 1, 2019, the State of Texas will repeal Driver Responsibility Program - Chapter 708, Transportation Code. The Department of Public Safety will reinstate all driver privileges that were previously suspended solely for having unpaid surcharges.
